HISTORIC 1855 LOG CABIN

Nestled in the woods on two secluded and serene acres, Logcastle (circa 1855) is an authentic log cabin that has been brought to life and filled with the perfect blend of local antiques, modern furnishings and plenty of rustic spirit. Moved from its original location at Montgomery Bell State Park, Logcastle has been lovingly restored to create the perfect luxurious home away from home for your relaxation and enjoyment. Trust me when I say, you are not going to want to leave.

Logcastle offers guests the tranquility of the countryside (with a Gatlinburg like feel) with the convenience of being within seven miles of both Leiper’s Fork Village and Historic Downtown Franklin.

Enjoy the sounds of the birds chirping and the soft rain falling on the tin roof. Enjoy making s’mores over the crackling fire in the outdoor fire pit. Don’t be surprised by the deer and turkey that frequently roam the property.

Inside the cozy cabin, take in the original unbleached patina of the wood and unmatched charm of the decor. The dreamy kitchen is fully equipped to cook a great meal and it’s hard not to obsess over the antique lower cabinets (and front door) that came out of the well known Historic Maxwell House that was destroyed in 1961 in Nashville. With over 2300 sqft, two cozy living rooms and three bedroom suites, the cabin is perfect for couples or families who want to be together, but still want privacy.

Logcastle truly has a character all its own; a secluded retreat nestled amongst the trees off the beaten path. Logcastle is where a touch of nature and your imagination make everyday life a little less ordinary. Book your stay and experience a piece of Tennessee history.
